Samsung announced that the next smartphones to get the 5G technology will not be on an expensive flagship but it will be on a mid-range Galaxy A series. So from Galaxy S10 5G and Galaxy Note 10 5G, the A90 aims to provide the same 5G technology but at a more affordable cost.
The Samsung Galaxy A90 is set to launch in Korea by September 4 for 900,000 KRW and the UK by October 4 for £610 but no news yet on when it will be launched in the US.
A90 is packed with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, it is Qualcomm’s latest chipset that is found in many current Android flagships. It also comes with a 6.7-inch FHD+ (1080×2400) AMOLED display.
The Samsung Galaxy A90 5G also has a triple-camera array with 48MP primary camera with two dedicated to depth-of-field and ultra-wide shots. The front-facing camera is packed with 32MP.
For gamers, the Samsung Galaxy A90 5G also includes a Game Booster Mode with 6GB or 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage with a MicroSD card slot, a 4500mAh battery with 25W Super Fast Charging, on-screen fingerprint scanner, face recognition and compatibility with the brand’s DeX mode.
